This page is dedicated to helping the performing arts sector embrace sustainability and reduce waste. Every stage of a production, from the initial idea to the final curtain call, has an environmental footprint. To take action, we've created a list of practical measures.
This is a living toolkit and not a complete list, but a growing collection of ideas that can be used as inspiration. The measures are organized according to the different phases of a play's lifecycle, providing a clear roadmap for where and when to make a difference.
Alongside the potential measures below, you can find our factsheet template for you to use. You are more than welcome to contribute your own examples and ideas for measures so we can learn from each other.
